One Earth Recycling

One Earth Recycling sprouted from the seeds of California Metals / All Computer Surplus, a 29- year-old family-owned and -operated diversified recycling firm located east of San Diego in El Cajon, California. The innovative One Earth Recycling model aims to make recycling an integrated part of consumers’ established shopping patterns. One Earth is proud of its “value proposition with a global perspective,” which benefits 1) consumers, by making recycling increasingly accessible and user-friendly, 2) host retailers, by adding to existing traffic flows, and rewarding One Earth clients in host retailers’ gift cards, and 3) the environment, by making recycling a part of society’s established patterns of consumption.

Scope of Work: One Earth Recycling partners with companies such as Best Buy and Circuit City to host kiosk recycling events where people can recycle all their old technology equipment. • Public relations planning and strategy
  • Media relations
  • Arranged for television event coverage
